Yeah, I'm down for sure, its like a 30 min drive from my house and I'd be glad to put you up i i don't have other guests in town, sometimes my mom or bro/sis like to come in town but they tell me a month before hand. That and we can go to disneyland and I can make you puke on the teacups. . .ain't I just the best. Remind me about it as it gets closer and I'm sure we can come up with some sort of fun plan.

This year's event will be indoors? What? They don't want to try to recreate the wonderful Xarcabard setting of last year? LOL
I'll be coming up Wednesday afternoon, and leaving on Sunday. Disneyland is always an option for me, if we can fit it in. But, I'll have that 5 hour drive back to Vegas, so can't hang around too long on Sunday.
We gonna be trying for Host Hotel, or going "more reasonable"?

I was gonna sit tight and wait until the POL webiste made the official post on it. That way I'll see if they are offering a discount on hotel like they did last year.
Money wise I'm better off than I ever have been so I'm willing to go with the hotel room that is right there at the site.

Chesh and I are planning on being there. We registered at the site today (btw it's up www.ffxifestival.com) and I went ahead and booked a room at the hotel, but depending on what our travel agent comes up with we will see if that reservation is kept. ;P We will be heading down the 14th (after the horrible traveling we had last year I'm not going to deal with the airlines this year) and will leave early that Sunday.

Ok, I registered and booked at the hotel already. Anyone who is thinking about going might wanna register as soon as you can as there is only about 1,500 tickets being sold for this as far as I know.
Clayton or Abe. I'm thinking about flying in on Wed. night and just crashing with one of you guys if that would be ok. Then I would have a relaxing Thur. of getting up late, hanging out, then driving down to the hotel that afternoon.

Got a registration confirmation for the Fan Fest. Looking on the Hilton website, it looks like they charge based on how many people are staying in the room and if you want 2 double beds or a king bed in each room, the number of rooms does not seem to effect the price. I'd be willing to go in with multiple people on a room, and I do not mind sharing a 2 double bed room with someone as well. This would help reduce the hotel cost for everyone involved.
And please make sure you get a confirmation email when you register for the FanFest, I didn't get one last year and almost didn't get in.

I signed up even though its doubtful that I will be able go as its in the middle of wrestling season.
Wrestling versus FFXI is a tough decision.
I'm not sharing a room with any of you though. If there are any hot chicks there, I don't want any of you donkeys cramping my STYLE.

Anaheim is where Disney Land is, but I'm assuming you know this. Looks like the festival is being held at the same place I went to Anime Expo at, which would be ubar cause it's huge. Not sure why they'd only let in 1500 people.

Trasporting
Tele-Abe Froman should be available on the weekend and most of the time during the week. However I drive a pickup truck that only really sits 3-4 (Extended Cab). I am more than happy to take people on tours and the like while they are in town. There are lots of things to do, The train station is right there that can take us into downtown LA or down to San Diego too so just keep that in mind. I also live close to LAX and if anybody is needing a ride out that way from here be sure to let me know. I charge 2k per tele :)

I think i can get ahold of my dads Tahoe, which fits like 8 so if that pans out we can roll in that. If not i know my cousin Justins got some sedan that can hold like 5 or so if he comes that is but yeah. FYI

How about next week some time? I can find some time during the week after 6:30 usually and weekends are good usually. This weekend, the 10th - 12th I will be at a wedding. But I believe the rest of my weekends are open till the end of the month.

I try not to think of the cost. Let's see.. admission is 85, hotel where it's being held I think is around 140/night? Might be off, but you can check it, it's linked on the Fan Fest site. There might still be people who can still split hotel rooms. Or you can stay with Clay and mooch. Don't tell him I suggested it. No idea how much a taxi costs, but KC people are trying to go together so we could split that if we all fit. I also keep forgetting to see if the Hilton provides shuttle service. Plane tickets I haven't even looked at, but I usually spend 200-250$ to go to LA, guess it depends on the time of year though. Lesse, money for booze, food, shinies... I'm splitting a room, so I'm figuring upwards of 900$ for me.
